Aaron White is searching for two things that may be impossible to find: a place where he belongs and a future he can call his own. There is only one problem. Aaron is a monster.

A vampire with extraordinary physical abilities fueled by human flesh and blood, he lives in a world that fears creatures like him and judges value by strength, usefulness, and obedience. To survive, Aaron must conceal what he is while serving military leaders who see his power not as a gift, but as a weapon to be exploited.

Sent into the most dangerous corners of a fractured world, Aaron and his companions hunt twisted paranormal creatures, practitioners of forbidden occult magic, murderers, and threats that ordinary soldiers cannot face. Every mission pushes them deeper into a landscape shaped by violence, political rivalry, supernatural forces, and civilizations struggling to rebuild from the ruins.

But killing monsters is often the easy part. Aaron must also navigate leaders willing to sacrifice him, foreign powers eager for conflict, fragile alliances, and societies that may never accept someone like him. His victories make him valuable, but they do not make him trusted. The more indispensable he becomes, the more difficult it is to know whether those around him see a person—or simply a disposable asset.

As the series unfolds, Aaron is forced to confront enemies both human and inhuman while wrestling with the guilt and uncertainty surrounding his own nature. Every time he feeds, every time he uses the abilities that make him so powerful, he is reminded of the thing he fears most: Perhaps the world is right to distrust him.

His journey becomes a struggle for identity, loyalty, and self-determination in a world eager to define him by his darkest instincts.
