America Has a New Secret Weapon

“Boston” Hollinger is the antihero we never knew we needed.

Imagine you could see the memories of the person sitting next to you. Not their happy and joyous moments or mundane ones like taking out the trash or visiting the supermarket. You experience their darkest secrets and most personal traumas through their eyes. You feel what they feel. Would that be a blessing or a curse? That is what Eugene “Boston” Hollinger needs to figure out.

Diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) following an ISIS attack in Syria, Boston is discharged from the Army as an intelligence analyst and goes to work for Congress. As vivid dreams continue to haunt him, he seeks the help of a beautiful psychologist who specializes in brain injuries. As they narrow down that his dreams are not dreams at all, a mole is leaking information to the nation’s enemies, resulting in casualties overseas.

Boston must decide to use his gift to uncover the traitor while others seek political cover by pinning the leaks on him. When the FBI learns of his condition, they have other thoughts than clearing Boston’s name and letting him live happily ever after. They plan on turning him into a weapon and integrating him into a special team designed to get results called “Watchtower.”

Every superhero has a cross to bear, and Boston is no different. He’s a tool being wielded by the forces of good to bring justice to the world…or is he? As he labors through the strain of these memories, he will be forced to make another decision – are the people he’s working for really the good guys?

The Watchtower Thrillers is an ongoing series that is best if it’s read in order, but not as critical as other series.
