Welcome to the world of Ethesia and the Damascus Guild. I’m thrilled to have you go on this journey with me. Since my days in elementary school, I’ve been writing stories, though they amounted to snippets of ridiculous characters in outlandish settings that only make sense to an eight-year-old. Thankfully, after many years of reading and writing, those eccentric characters and unpredictable worlds became more cohesive, slightly less eccentric, and much more accessible to a wider audience. Now, twenty years later, I can finally call myself a published author. 

I’m a born and raised East Tennessean living my best life with my wife and our three furry, four-legged children in upper-east Tennessee. I’m a lover of all things sci-fi and fantasy, as evidenced by my ever-expanding collection of laser swords and wizard wands, but I’m also an avid fan of Dickens, Collins, and Dumas. So, whether you’re a fan of classic literature, swashbuckling adventures, thrilling mysteries, or sword and sorcery, you’ll find we have a lot in common. 

Besides being your typical bookworm, I’m also a newly minted theater nerd. My wife and I began taking part in our community theater together and have been engrossed in it ever since. We love to sing and act on stage (I won’t ever claim to be a dancer) and help share some of our favorite stories with the world. If you ever find yourself in Jonesborough, Tennessee, be sure to check out the repertory theater’s latest show, and you might just see a familiar face. 

We all have a story that deserves to be told. Whether yours takes place in this world or the one inside your head, there’s always room for the fantastical and the epic.
