The two women have very different backgrounds when they begin investigating student-turned-gun-control-activist Ethan Harrington in Brockhampton, Massachusetts. Tierra is the shy survivor of a school shooting who is thrust on the national scene by accident. What they learn about each other is only surpassed by what they learn from each other.

Following the events in Justifiable Deceit, the women stumble upon a plot to influence the New Hampshire Democratic Primary and manipulate the upcoming presidential election. The stakes cannot be higher – the fate of the Republic and the democratic election of our leaders hang in the balance.
