As the deaths begin to connect in unsettling ways, Dan realizes that his presence in the past may be changing more than just his own life. The deeper he becomes involved with Lucy and the people around him, the more he is forced to confront a terrifying possibility: his presence in the past may be changing everything.
Caught between two eras and a growing series of murders, Dan must decide how far he is willing to go to protect the people he cares about, and whether he can understand the impact of these untimely deaths before it's too late.

Time travel is always an interesting plot to a story. I loved how it was a slow start that let you get that cozy small town setting while getting to know all the characters and really enjoyed jumping from different POV’s which allowed you to see the cracks behind the perfect picture setting that was originally shown. I ended up not being able to put the book down as I needed to know what would happen next!
